Welcome to Weebirdie’s Café!

I am a home baker, a Japanese, living in Belfast with two young boys and a lovely husband. This blog is a record or a diary of my baking.

I bake with free range eggs and fair-trade ingredients as much as possible.

I’ve been baking since I was a 10 years old. I learnt a basic of French influenced Japanese modern home baking from a cook book my mum had. I enjoyed baking ever since, either in a kitchen of a small bedsit in Kyoto, or in large kitchen of an old Norwegian mountain hotel, or in a hut with a handmade coal oven in Zambia. And now, I am baking more than ever since I became a full time mum in Belfast.

I bake only for my family and friends now, and I’m hoping to make it into a small business somehow sometime in the future. This blog is a catalogue of things I made, a record of my dairy baking and a note which I want to share with other bakers, (but it probably wont be a recipe blog) .  I’ll be delighted if you enjoy flicking through this blog and sharing your idea and advice with me.
